Mana Pacific awards recognise three young Pacific people giving back

Mana Pacific proudly sponsor the Mana Pacific Citizenship Awards to young people who demonstrate a community-minded work ethic and leadership.

Service to community is a 'call to action' and a way of life for many of our Pacific communities around the region. One way we recognise and encourage young people who give back to their local communities is through the Mana Pacific Citizenship Award. This is an annual award given to a student at the Funafuti Seventh-day Adventist Primary School in Tuvalu.

Here are our three honourees.

Tekaile Fiamaua

Tuvaluan student Tekaile Fiamaua was the 2018 Head Boy at Funafuti Seventh-day Adventist Primary School, Tuvalu. He was awarded the Mana Pacific Citizenship Award and voted by school staff for his positive attitude towards others, volunteering of time, service to the school and community, and exhibiting service leadership. The son of Sonema and Fiamaua, he loves to read and aspires to be a chemical scientist.

Antoinette Usa Sapakuka

The proud recipient of the 2019 Mana Pacific Citizenship Award, Funafuti Seventh-day Adventist Primary School, Tuvalu.

Fola Lopati
